Waxing at Home with Glam Works

How you take care of your unwanted hair is your personal choice.

Mine happened to be waxing because it uplift the hair from the root, providing weeks of hairless skin, but also shaving at times when there are unplanned events that I need to get rid of the hair immediately.

I never went to a waxing salon so I always do it at home and had tried different types of waxing kit that can be bought from supermarkets or in my case, at Watsons.

There are 3 that I am aware of and which I had tried, the heated, cold and strip. For now, I will be sharing the one that is the most convenient for me (and maybe for you too) and giving me the result that I want.

I bought this Glam Works Body Wax Strips from Watsons thru Online (read here to know how)on June 8, and it arrived after almost 2 weeks which they have mentioned on their site on the delays due to high number of orders.

The product is price at Php 169 only and I bought two. Very affordable right? The box includes 12 Easy-to-Use Wax Strips and 2 After - Wax Finish Wipes.

What I did was, I cut the strip into two for a smaller size,  but you can cut it depending on the size that you desired or leave it like that.

Now before you try this product, you need to read the instructions and Cautions at the back of the box because we don't want to damage our skin, right? READ THEM!

Preparation and aftercare is a must!

So, why wax strips and not hot or cold wax?

As I have mentioned earlier, this is the most convenient one for me, as I only need to apply the wax strip and peel it off. 

This is really the quick and ready to use straight from the pack.

The result is surprisingly effective as it remove the unwanted hair on my legs and underarms.

If you are waxing a large area of your body, I recommend the hot wax. Glam Works also has that type of kit. The results are same with this strips but it easily dry out so you need to reheat the wax.

I would not recommend the cold wax, because it does not remove the hair. I tried different brands and the results unfortunately was the same. Let me know if it works for you.

There are different brands out there but this brand works perfectly fine for me, so if you are still searching for the brand that will remove that unwanted hairs, you might want to try this one.
